Rights, Terms and Conditions
- You'll recieve both a low resolution and high-resolution version of the artwork. I host the final files for a week before removing them from cloud storage, but I always keep a copy in case you need to download them again!
- I am allowed to display the finished art piece at any social media account of mine, gallery, portfolio, etc. unless you request to keep it unpublished, or submitted as an anonymous commission with no information shared.
- I reserve the rights to the money (a 25% or 50% of the total payment, depending on the art progress or complexity) in the very rare cases of backing out in the process and deciding to cancel the order when the commission is almost completed (specifically, any stage that involves coloring and/or final retouching)
- No returns or refunds can be issued after the commission is completed. This includes complaints regarding any missing details or misinterpretations after the commission is finished. All corrections must be informed during the creation process. You are entirely responsible of checking the work in progress and informing any modifications as soon as possible, in order to avoid additional charges for major changes to the artwork.
> reposting / reusing
- Sure! As long as you credit me properly: putting my username and a link back to any of my accounts (disclaimers like "found this on X website", "art doesn't belong to me, all credits belong to the respective artist" are lazy and not an acceptable way of giving credit). If you’re unsure if it’s okay to repost a specific artwork or don’t know how to credit, ask first! Please don’t repost my work on art portfolio websites, such as dA, for obvious reasons.
- I’m a little more picky about my own characters (I usually give them the #OC tag) and I’d prefer you to message me before you consider reposting or reusing any picture featuring them. Using them for roleplay is a no-no.
- Regarding commissioned works, or simply, artwork made for another person such as gifts, art trades, etc. (which will always be stated in the description), then you must always ask permission to the owner(s) of the picture and/or character(s) first and get their consent as well before reposting or reusing the art.
- Unless I specify otherwise, you are not allowed to edit the reposted art, with the exception of: cropping it for things such as avatars, moodboards, aesthetic posts, artist showcases, etc. Some slight touches such as applying filters, resizing and flipping/rotating images are fine too as long as the original art remains recognizable. If you are going to repost a full picture, any signature or watermark must remain intact.
- Artwork made for others (again: commissions, trades, gifts, etc.) cannot be edited in any way except by the person for whom it was drawn for.
> referencing
I don’t mind if you copy, trace or reference my artwork for the mere purposes of learning and practicing. I DO mind if you post or share those drawings online, even if you credit me for the original art, though. You are still copying my style and concept art, which are based on my own ideas, inspiration, and artistic experience. I would prefer you not to publish those kind of studies anywhere. Keep them to yourself and focus on your own original content! :)
> reselling
You absolutely may not reuse and redistribute my artwork for any commercial and/or profit purposes (for example but not limited to: merchandise such as mugs, prints, shirts; reusing or tracing a character design; etc.), unless you have been granted my written permission after discussion. Any reproduction without my consent is copyright infringement. I have my own stores listed in the links, so you know which reputable sources to buy from and support my art. Thank you!
> generals
Downloading and/or editing my art for any personal use such as avatars or wallpapers is perfectly fine. If you can, I'd really appreciate your support and kindly ask you to make a donation, leave a tip or buy something from my shop if you like and use my work.
If you’re still unsure about any other uses that weren’t covered here, please pm me! I don’t mind at all, and I'd love to answer any questions you may have to avoid misunderstandings.
